The Community Pantry
This is a story of “Neighbors helping neighbors.” During the lockdown of March 2020 many people wanted to be able to donate to the local Community Pantry. However the pantry never had a website, nor did it have a way for people to donate online – they had survived for years on cash and checks. A group of citizens decided to fix this, and on March 24, I offered to design and build the website. By April 3 the site was live, and by April 13 the site had raised over $4k.
